My major goals over the next few months are:
New art and animations are coming to the game: I'm teaming up with @careously to develop some new character art that will give the pawns character, depth, and hats. (Sneak peek!)
A character and narrative diary generator
is in the works: Each pawn will have a backstory, traits, preferences
and skills, which you'll be able to discover through unique diary
entries. I'm teaming up with award-winning playwright Cassandra Tse to develop the game universe and setting!
Buildings and electricity are
the next major gameplay systems to be added. These will form the basis
of the resource management and base building systems to come.
And, I'd like to get a demo of the game onto itch.io in September. This is an ambitious stretch goal. Wish me luck!
