With a huge thanks to the NZGDA, we had a great time meeting so many new and existing fans at Armageddon AKL in October. Thank you to everyone who popped by and said hello, provided feedback, or grabbed one of the last remaining postcards!

We're starting to add some tools to Adaptory so streamers can play the game with their community. To start off, you're now able to rename your explorers! You can change names when starting a new game, or at any time during gameplay.

There's brand new resource pile art, for every type of solid element – and it looks amazing. The art and animations for the battery and light buildings have been completely redone, and your explorers now show what they’re carrying around the place.

We've added a resource counter to keep track of all the resources and items that your crew is able to access. You can now save and load your game, enabling you to play much longer sessions. There's lots of extra clicks and sounds and adaptive audio throughout Alpha 7, and three brand new music tracks!

There's also animated dialogs, improved scrollbars, command line switches, windowed fullscreen mode, and of course – lots of bug fixes and performance improvements. Full details are in the latest Adaptory release notes:

Alpha 7 is going to be our final release before Early Access, so if you haven't yet been able to download a copy, now is the perfect time to play.

We will be participating in Steam Next Fest in February 2024, so make sure to wishlist the game to get access!
